When you live on Lake Washington, with arguably the best view in the Pacific Northwest, most of our clients choose to transform their living spaces into ultimate dream homes. This project was guided by the client’s desire to expand their horizon, literally, and to live in high-end luxury. Leitzke Architects and Eden Custom Builders did just that by designing and delivering a skillfully crafted, functional reconstruction.

”Before” photo showing the home prior to construction start. The existing roof was removed and a new upper floor added, including a master bedroom and bath. The new master deck, with an expansive view of Lake Washington, was added over the existing dining room on right in photo.
“After” photo shows the new upper floor, finished construction. New roofs, eyebrow roof at main level, new deck, and new interiors. Much craftsmanship went into this project, including a custom made stair system, hydronic floor heat, vertical grain fir millwork and doors, and extensive stone and tile work. This remodel was unique in that it included an interior elevator.
Master Bath. This new master bath combines modern conveniences with slick style.
Master wood crafter NK Woodworking designed this beautiful staircase exclusively for this client. Staircase and handrail is made of sapelle and oak, with handmade newel posts and balusters. Custom made laminated stringers bent in shop to fit this space. A unique and true piece of art.
